Wilson Fencing

Originally agricultural fencing contractors, fencing and farmparts suppliers, Wilson Fencing Ltd expanded into sawmilling in 2005 with the purchase of a Lucas Swingblade sawmill. This enabled us to specialise in the processing of large sawlogs up to 1 metre in diameter.

In January 2009 the business was further developed with the purchase of a Woodmizer LT20 hydraulic sawmill. Both of these sawmills produce agricultural fencing materials from locally sourced softwoods. The fence posts produced are sold direct to local farmers and through agricultural merchants and machinery rings.

In the near future, timber dressing machinery including a planer and thicknesser will be installed to make P.A.R. (planed all round) and square edged construction timber available to the local joinery industry. Kiln drying facilities will also be installed.
