Anxiety, Depression and Insomnia are hidden burdens of society and there are several reasons to include yoga as a treatment for these. Current approach for depression is not sufficient for many individuals as lots of patients are concerned about existing pharmacological options that may have side effects. Yoga, including carefully designed asana with focus on breath awareness and meditation, is an attractive alternative or a good complementary strategy to the existing treatments.
