Yoga Now Studio

I was born in Hertfordshire in 1967, grew up in London and came to Edinburgh in 1986 to study at Edinburgh University and College of Art. I now live in Leith with my husband and daughter. I have been practicing yoga for 27 years (attending my first class, with Elaine Pidgeon, at Edinburgh Iyengar Yoga Centre in 1986).

Regular practice of yoga helps to bring everything into balance - all the systems of the body; circulation, respiration, hormonal, digestion. Yoga can help with the symptoms of many common ailments, but as I discovered, it works best as a preventative practice. And by bringing alignment to the body, the mind becomes quieter.

I qualified as an Iyengar teacher in 2002 and have been teaching in the Leith area ever since.
