Yogatree

Yogatree Iyengar Yoga classes are taught in Biddestone, Corsham, Chippenham, Bradford-on-Avon and Bristol. Our courses and workshops attract students from surrounding towns including Malmesbury, Melksham, Malborough, Trowbridge, Calne, Devizes, Colerne, Marshfield, Bath and Box. Our classes are held locally in Arts Centres and Village Halls. Classes are quiet and non-competitive, combining dynamic exercise with restful relaxation. We have been practicing Iyengar Yoga for twenty eight years and have been teaching since 1997. We both been awarded the Intermediate Senior Level 3 teaching certificates IY(UK). We are both teacher trainers, mentors and assessors for IYUK Iyengar yoga examinations. We continue to train both in the U.K and India under the guidance of pupils of BKS Iyengar. We are called "Yogatree" because we are inspired by the teachings of BKS Iyengar, particularly his book Yoga Vrksha (The Tree of Yoga) which traces and explains Yoga Philosophy of Patanjali and the holistic health benefits of Yoga.
