In 2008 John decided to leave his CEO job and successfully replace his corporate income with a salary from multiple cash flowing properties. Since then he has built a portfolio of single lets, holiday lets, local housing allowance (LHA) tenants, and houses of multiple occupation (HMOs). These days he is continuously using imaginative strategies to increase the income from his properties through serviced accommodation (SA). He was one of the first hosts to work with airbnb back in March 2012 and has hosted over 500 guests across the UK through that channel alone. It hasn’t all been easy though, and John’s learned a lot from deals that haven’t gone so well. But these learning curves led him to realise his passion for mentoring and helping others in the serviced accommodation market. John believes in integrity and honesty. The property business is a community and just as in many other areas, people do business with those that they know, like, and trust. He wants to help committed people with similar values, and build professional relationships that last.
